This hands-on workshop introduces educators and trainers to the fundamentals of using AI prompts for lesson and course design. Participants will learn how to structure effective prompts, refine outputs, and adapt AI-generated content to align with learning objectives and instructional best practices. 

 We created a hands-on introduction to AI for writing, thinking, planning, and creating for community members at Bartlett Library. 

This interactive workshop, part of MetHer By Design’s Learning AI Series, introduces participants to the practical ways ChatGPT can support everyday work and creativity. Designed for educators, professionals, and community members, the session explores how AI can make writing faster, thinking deeper, planning smarter, and creating bolder.

What you’ll experience:

• Wise – Writing: Use AI to draft emails, resumes, posts, and stories more efficiently.
• Tigers – Thinking: Brainstorm new ideas, summarize information, and compare options.
• Paint – Planning: Build agendas, schedules, and step-by-step plans with clarity.
• Creatively – Creating: Generate captions, scripts, and original prompts for projects.
   

Through live demonstrations, group activities, and guided practice, participants learn not just what ChatGPT can do, but how to use it responsibly and ethically. Limitations, data bias, and accuracy are openly discussed so attendees leave with both enthusiasm and caution.
